Digitex Informatica S.L. became partners in 2005 with the venture capital Columbian firm Altra Inversiones to start up Digitex International, with the aim of expanding their services on the American continent with an initial investment of 8 million euros.


Altra Inversiones contributed 45% of the resources for the new corporation, as well as their experience in the region, while Digitex assumed 55% of the corporation, as well as the business 'know-how' for implementing and developing customer service platforms, besides their relationship with the Spanish multinationals that operate in the area.


Digitex International, with headquarters in Mexico City, has operations functioning in Columbia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Peru, Panama and Nicaragua, with a growth structure based on acquisitions and alliances with leading companies providing local services in the countries of operation.
